"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you came to visit Me.” (Matthew 25:35-36 NIV)
The Caring Ministries Committee encourages sensitivity in women toward those who are hurting and in need. The Servant Opportunities Coordinator plans activities and servant events in which women of the District may become involved in Christ-like hands-on service to those who are hurting or in need. She challenges women to be alert to service opportunities in their church, community and the world and respond as Christ would have them do. Likewise, the Service Projects Coordinator informs women of the District about projects they can prepare in the home or church to provide comfort and basic necessities to those who are in need.
