The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is recognized as the official women's auxiliary organization of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. The LWML (also known as Lutheran Women in Mission) is comprised of member societies within synodical congregations. The purpose of the LWML is to further Christ's mission to the world by supporting the work of the church and by providing education, inspiration, and opportunities for service, both at home and in the world. The LWML endeavors to develop and maintain a greater mission consciousness among the women of the synod through programs of Mission Inspiration, Mission Education, and Mission Service. Work of the LWML is accomplished by the voluntary contributions of its members through Mite Box offerings. The LWML Michigan District supports its programs with 75% of the Mite Box offerings and forwards the remaining 25% to national LWML for its projects and programs.

Vice President of Mission Outreach Carol was introduced to LWML by her older sister 50 years ago. She has held the following positions: Co-chair of the Multi-Lakes Zone for several years, Parliamentarian for the Michigan District, Financial Secretary, and now VP of Mission Outreach. Carol is a member of St. Paul, Millington, Franconian Zone.
Vice President of Organizational Resources Linda is a member of Living Water Lutheran Church of Whitmore Lake, where she serves as a volunteer staff member by leading Women’s, First Impressions, and MomCo ministries. She served as a 2024 Michigan District Convention Co-Chair, Co-Chair of the Ann Arbor Zone, and currently serves on the Steering Team of her LWML Daughters On Mission group. She is Secretary for the Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI) and a writer on the Bethania Kids Publications Team. Linda enjoys facilitating a weekly Women’s Bible Study and serves as a Manor Docent for the Concordia (CUAA) guild.
Recording Secretary Linda Fritsch attends Salem National Ev. Lutheran in Ann Arbor, MI. She's worked as a legal secretary; as an administrative assistant for Lutheran Special Education Ministries, Ann Arbor, MI; and now is an administrative assistant for the Michigan District— LCMS, Ann Arbor.
Financial Secretary Allison is a member of Good Shepherd, Cass City in the Thumb Zone. She is Zone Secretary, Publicist, & Assistant to the President. She was a district YWR in 2022 & national YWR in 2023. At Good Shepherd, Allison is society President, Spiritual Growth Chair of Women’s Ministry & plays her French Horn in the church band.
Treasurer Linda is a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Auburn, MI in the Mid Michigan Zone. She has served the district as Parliamentarian, President’s Assistant, and stepped in as Treasurer last biennium. She is a retired Construction Engineer who served in management positions for 38 years, in 10 U.S. States, Australia and Canada.
Senior Pastoral Counselor Pastor Jeff Frechette is the Sr. Administrative Pastor at St. Mark Lutheran Church and at Franklin Avenue Mission in Flint, MI
Junior Pastoral Counselor Rev. Vossler serves St. Paul Lutheran Church Sanford, MI (2021-present) in the Mid Michigan Zone.
Vice President of Special Focus Ministries Kim has served as the Heart to Heart Sister Leader, on the Mission Grant Selection Committee, and as Monroe Zone President. She attends St. John’s Waltz, New Boston, MI in the Monroe Zone and is a Senior Manager Global Quality Systems, for Visteon.
Vice President of Communications Jacki Parmer was a YWR at the MI District Convention in Frankenmuth and at the National Convention in Lexington, KY. She's served as the Social Media Coordinator for the district. She is a member at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Macomb, MI and is a Registered Nurse.
Vice President of Christian Outreach Angela was a YWR at the National Convention in Lexington; KY and a Zone Delegate at the 2025 National Convention, in Omaha, NE. She is a student in the Deaconess Distance Program, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne.
